15 February 2021 marks the beginning of the population census in Slovakia, carrying decisive importance with view to the future of Hungarian communities in the historic Upper Hungary region.

The Rákóczi Association has prepared an ambitious schedule of activities for the running year in the hope that life as normal will resume by the spring and travel and community events become possible again.

By rejecting the Minority SafePack citizens’ initiative, the European Commission has disregarded 50 million members of Europe’s indigenous minorities, the request of over 1.2 million citizens and the support of the majority of Members of the European Parliament. The Rákóczi Association expresses its gratutide to all thowe who stood up for Hungarian minority communities and continue to do so. The University Students' Camp began at the Rákóczi Camp and Events Centre in Sátoraljaújhely on 17 August 2020.University Students' Camp begins On 17 August, lectures were delivered at the camp by Speaker of the National Assembly László Kövér and prime ministerial commissioner Katalin Szili. Starting from 10 a.m. on 18 August, participants were addressed by Gergely Gulyás, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office.
